Woodlawn woman skydives for suicide prevention charity

Geraldine Cunningham from Woodlawn recently turned her dream of skydiving into a reality, jumping for a cause close to her heart – Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland (YSPI).
Geraldine took the plunge last month, tandem skydiving from a small aircraft at over 10,000 feet. While she admits the experience ended too quickly, she described it as "totally awesome."
More importantly, Geraldine's courageous leap helped raise significant funds for YSPI. Her initial goal of €1,000 was not only reached but surpassed, with donations totallling over €2,100 and still growing.
"I'd like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who generously supported this cause," said Geraldine. "Your donations will make a real difference in the lives of young people struggling with suicidal thoughts."
Donations are still being accepted on Geraldine's fundraising page: https://skydive.yspi.ie/gerimeri
