Farranfore water works nearly completed

.
Irish Water hope to have the ongoing water pipe replacement works in Farranfore completed by mid-November.
Irish Water, in partnership with Kerry County Council and contractors Ward and Burke Ltd, are replacing problematic water mains in the village. The work is mainly being done at night with some traffic diversions in place while workers are on site.
Once the Farranfore section is complete the workers will move to the Ash Hill area in Tralee where they will continue works in that area with Kerry County Council.
The works in Ash Hill, Farmer's Bridge, Ballymacelligott, will take place in two sections, from the crossroads at Farmer’s Bridge south to Lissardboola and on the L2012 from the Farmer’s Bridge crossroads, eastbound via Tonreigh for approximately 2.5km.
