Time travel yields rewards
W
WELL, when a group of Killarney revellers headed back through the decades, it proved a profitable experience for one deserving charity.
A special 1990s-themed night that took place in McSorley’s in November in memory of Patrick McSparron raised an impressive €5000 for CF Ireland which Patrick’s pals presented to the cause yesterday.
“The idea came around because of the 20-year anniversary of Patrick’s death from cystic fibrosis,” said James Murphy on behalf of the organisers. “We would also like to thank Club Vitae leisure centre, photographer Trevor O'Donoghue photographer, Bricín restaurant, Lord Kenmare's restaurant, OM Mechanical, Tommy Finnegan Construction, MD O'Shea's, DC Energy Solutions, Robs Ranch House, Heather (Gap of Dunloe), Aherns Garage, Belladonna Laser, Carry Out, Who's 4 Shoes, Killarney Advertiser, Sapphire Signs, O'Sullivan Sound Systems, Pat Sheehan Junior from McSorley’s and all media and those who supported what was a great night.”
