Sunday’s Winter Solstice cancelled

This Sunday's Solstice trek on the Paps of Anú has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions being forecast.
The advice was given by mountaineering guide leader Donie Mulcahy.
Derry Healy, one of the organisers, is suggesting to join with the special charity fundraiser planned for St Stephen’s Day, which will see the Sam Maguire being carried to the top of the Paps mountains in aid of the Kerry-Cork Cancer Link Bus and the Brian Lawlor Trust.
Participants will gather at Glenflesk GAA Club at 9.30am on December 26 and then on to the 690m peak of the Western Pap.
