St Paul’s Basketball Club Golf Classic launched
St Paul's Basketball Club will be swapping their basketballs for orbs of a smaller version when they host their Golf Classic in Beaufort Golf Club on August 24.
This year's Classic will again be held in memory of the late Connie Brosnan. Connie, who passed away in March 2020, was a stalwart of St Pauls, serving as Team Manager in the 1990s for the team, tending to the squad's every need and more lately as the welcoming and friendly Venue officer at the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre. His affable nature led to many friendships and Connie was of course a keen and avid golfer so it is apt and fitting that his memory should be associated with the Classic.
The event takes place at the picturesque and pristine Beaufort course and is open to teams of four for the great value of €300 per team. The sponsorship of a tee box for €100 is also available.
For further details on tee times or tee box sponsorship from Joey Sheehan on 087 6248383, Sean Brosnan on 087 2065133 and Maurice O'Donoghue on 087 6863269.
