Solutions sought for school traffic problems at St Oliver’s
By Sean Moriarty
Traffic chaos on Rookery Road at school drop off and collection times is set to be discussed at next week’s Killarney Municipal District meeting.
Since St Oliver’s School in Ballycasheen re-opened at the start of this month there has been widespread traffic congestion in the area.
There is no designated drop-off area outside the school and this is causing massive traffic problem.
Cllr Donal Grady is calling for a field adjoining the school to be used as a drop off area.
“From a Health and Safety point of view this is an urgent matter,” he said.
