Royal night out as Aoife is crowned regatta queen

CONGRATULATIONS to Aoife Farrell of Muckross Rowing Club who last night accepted the coveted title Killarney Regatta Queen.
The coronation took place at the regatta dance at the Killarney Oaks Hotel where Aoife’s win topped a hugely successful two days for her club, as Muckross was also celebrating its 10 wins at the regatta on Monday.
Ann Tangney and Kathy Brosnan of Killarney Regatta committee presented Aoife with her prize and applause also rang out for the runners-up, Sara O'Brien (Fossa), Miriam Fleming (Flesk Valley), Karen Parker (St Brendan’s) and Leona Browne (Workmen).
