Revised times for COVID-19 walk-in tests
With an increase in COVID cases reported at 783 yesterday (Wednesday), Cork Kerry Community Healthcare has advised of revised time slots for walk-in testing at its COVID-19 test centre in Kerry.
Walk-in testing without appointment or referral will be available in Tralee from 9am to 11am, Monday to Saturday; and 2pm to 3pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Outside of these times, testing will only be conducted by appointment which can be booked online at hse.ie, and the public is asked to continue to book in advance at covid19test.healthservice.ie/hse-self-referral/.
This allows the HSE to make sure that the centres run as efficiently and safely as possible throughout the day.
Always remember that if you have symptoms then you should contact your GP immediately and they can refer you for a COVID-19 test if necessary. If you are a close contact, contact tracers will advise you on what you need to do, and you should not attend as a walk-in.
See www2.hse.ie/conditions/covid19/testing/walk-in-test-centres/ for more details.
