on

Following a sold-out event in July, Tango Street Food will return to the Great Southern Killarney on Wednesday, August 20, for another evening of open-fire cooking, live music and Argentine flavours.

The event, Asado by Tango, is led by Argentine-born chef Facundo Rodulfo Iglesias, co-founder of Tango Street Food and co-author of TANGO #BlastaBooks.
Guests will be served two starters, two mains, dessert and wine, all prepared over open flames in the hotel’s grounds.
The night will also feature live music from Floating Barrio, a collaboration between Argentine musician Agustina Taborda and Irish musician Jamie Toomey, performing traditional tango music.
Chef Facundo said the Argentine asado is more than a meal, describing it as an important social tradition where “fire, flavour and friendship come together.”
The evening begins at 6.30pm. Tickets are €75 per person and must be booked in advance through the Great Southern Killarney at 064 663 8022 or via www.greatsouthernkillarney.com.
