Noel O’Neil is camera club’s novice of the month
Noel O’Neill was declared the winner of the Novice category in Killarney Camera Club’s October competition. This stunning photo, Milltown Bridge Reflections, was taken at sunset in Dingle.
“It was low tide so I was standing on the rocks by the shoreline below the level of the road. I was setting up with my tripod to get some long exposures and intending to get a few shots with no vehicles on the bridge. Suddenly, I saw this tractor and trailer arriving on the bridge, so I just grabbed the camera and got one shot," said Noel.
The photo is also a contender for the Irish Examiner Readers Photo of the Year.
On November 11 the club will host Sam Gregory, a professional landscape photographer from Dorset, England, who will give a presentation on Working in Photographic Projects.
Anyone interested in joining the club can email secretary@killarneycameraclub.ie.
