Friends and colleagues of Jerry O’Leary are running a sponsored walk on August 10 to raise funds to help aid his recovery.
Jerry is an employee of the Mondelez (formerly Cadbury’s) facility in Rathmore.
The Barraduff man suffered severe injuries in a fall last year. The wall will start at Deenagh Lodge and will take in the Casteleoss loop of Killarney National Park.
“We are running a sponsored walk for Jerry O'Leary on Saturday and registration will take place at Deenagh Lodge from 10 am to 12 noon,” said organiser David O’Sullivan.
“We had a very successful golf outing in Kanturk last June where 60 teams participated on the day.”
