Nathan’s Walk to be launched on Wednesday
T
The launch of this year's Walking for Nathan - Darkness Into Light takes place on Wednesday, May 2 at 7.45pm in Reidy's of Main Street.
The walk, a fundraiser for Pieta House, is dedicated to the memory of Killarney boy Nathan O'Carroll who committed suicide at the age of 14 back in 2007.
His parents Marie and Denis have put countless hours into organising the walk, which has become one of the most successful events of its kind in the entire country. An incredible sum of €41,000 was raised last year alone.
While registration is online this year, it will be possible to register in Reidy's on the launch night and all are welcome. Get along and sign up if you can. It’s a truly worthy cause.
