Mick and his son Anthony are the only father and son to have won the Royal Oak Cup , the club’s annual highlight competition on the local lakes.
The cup was presented by Anthony Griffin and his wife Kay to Club Chairman DJ O Riordan.
“In presenting this cup , the family were keen to recognise the long-standing connection between the family and the club and now we are delighted to have an annual competition in Mick's memory,” said DJ.
