Meet Kerry’s five newly elected TDs

EMOTIONAL and heartfelt speeches were made by Kerry’s newly elected TDs as well as candidates who had run for election after Kerry’s five seats were filled last night.
Taking their place in the 32nd Dáil will be Michael Healy-Rae, Independent, Danny Healy-Rae, Independent, Brendan Griffin, Fine Gael, Martin Ferris, Sinn Fein, and John Brassil, Fianna Fáil.
They were congratulated in a packed count centre at Killarney Sports & Leisure Centre following a two-day count in the wake of the general election on Friday.
Returning officer Padraig Burke made announcement after 8.30pm on Sunday night, with the last three seats filled after the 11th count.
