Mayor visit to Killarney businesses
The Mayor of Kerry, Patrick ‘O Connor-Scarteen paid a visit to the businesses of Killarney this week
.
The Killarney-based Councillor was on one of his final official engagements before handing over the Mayoral chain to Listowel’s Jimmy Moloney.
"The visit around Killarney was very positive. Kerry people are resilient, optimistic and looking forward to normality. After such a long lockdown it was nice to see various sectors including hospitality and retail gradually reopening. It's great to see the local economy improving with people spending and visiting the town while adhering to public health guidelines” he told the Killarney Advertiser.
“I look forward to a full reopening shortly and hopefully an enjoyable summer for the people of Killarney.”
