By Sean Moriarty
Works on the Macroom by-pass are making “significant progress' according to Cork County Council officials.
The N22 Baile Bhuirne – Macroom Road Develop Scheme is on target for a completion date in late 2023.
Cllr Patrick Connor-Scarteen asked a Kerry County Council to provide an update on the scheme at Monday’s monthly council meeting.
“The latest update from Cork County Council is that significant progress has been made om structures throughout the scheme and that further significant progress is being made on earthworks which is being ramped up to full output at this stage of the year,” a council official told the meeting. “It is scheduled for completion in late 2023.”
