Louis O’Toole book signing at Killarney Houses

Louis O’Toole, author of ‘Fungi Of Killarney National Park’ will be on hand on Saturday, in Killarney House, to sign copies of his remarkable new book.
The mammoth production with an inventory of 534 Species of Fungi - 202 new species – is beautifully and painstakingly photographed with text by Louis.
The book is published by National Parks and Wildlife Services. It is a lifetime's work that is crucial to the understanding of mycological presence in the native woodlands.
“Broadly I have produced a painstaking list’ - not only has this list provided an invaluable scientific record, but has also highlighted an aspect of stunning diversity of the ecosystem found within Killarney National Park. Something to be cherished and preserved to the best of our abilities into the future,” said Louis.
He will be at Killarney House from 11.00am - 1.00pm. For more on this publication turn to page 40.
