Local wins Creative Photographer of the Year
By Michelle Crean
One local photographer has been named as 'Creative Photographer of the Year' this week.
Representing Killarney, Tara Donoghue Photography, was thrilled to receive the accolade from the Irish Wedding Awards - especially as it is her second time to get it as she also won in 2020.
"We are absolutely thrilled to win this award for the second time," Tara told the Killarney Advertiser.
"It is a great honour to be recognised in such a competitive industry and to be able to bring this award home to Kerry! We would like to thank all of our couples who have made this possible." Top wedding specialists gathered at The Crowne Plaza Hotel Dublin Airport on Monday to celebrate the champions of The 5th Irish Wedding Awards 2023.
The 2023 awards recognised exceptional specialists and suppliers that go above and beyond to ensure the uniqueness of every wedding. These suppliers are from a variety of industries and they work their hardest to ensure that wow factor is present at every wedding they’re hired for.
From boutiques and cake designers, to jewellery providers and much more, the awards recognised businesses that meet the needs of their customers offering top services under one roof.
“The winners represent the industry’s gold standard that work tirelessly to meet the demands of the couples and their guests," a spokesperson for The Irish Wedding Awards 2023, said.
