Killarney Musical Society in final stages of preparations for Mach show
It’s full steam ahead for members of Killarney Musical Society as they prepare for their production of ‘Michael Collins, a musical drama’ on March 5.
Behind the scenes the committee, under the leadership of Brid O’Callaghan, is very busy and along with rehearsals they are working on costumes, sound, programme production and building sets too.
Attendance at rehearsals has been very good with members travelling from Tralee. Cork Glenbeigh, Farranfore, Tralee, Castleisland, Killorglin, Glenflesk, Beaufort and Killarney each week.
“Director, Mr. Oliver Hurley, is very pleased with the progress so far but he has reminded us that there will be no time for slacking off between now and March 5 when we will be on the stage at the INEC Arena with this year’s production, said PRO Linda O’Donoghue.
“We must acknowledge the dedication of our production team and cast. The committee and members greatly appreciate the support we receive each year from our many patrons.”
