A Killarney man is part of a brand new Irish band set to release not one - but two - singles today (Friday).
Ciaran Quigley from Muckross has teamed up with Kyle Duffy from Co. Wicklow, and Rob Keating from Cork to form band Chapter 3
And today they'll release singles '5'10' and 'Better Than Me' from their debut, self titled EP which will go on release on October 30.
The group, who play modern music, have had a difficult year with the lockdown restrictions hampering recording but hope to end 2020 on a high note, Ciaran explained to the Killarney Advertiser.
"As Chapter 3 we write and compose our own music which is mainly influenced by pop with hints of pop rock and indie," he said.
"We were booked to record in March 2020, release our music in April, and had gigs and other events lined up to play throughout the summer, but unfortunately COVID-19 had other plans for us and the rest of the world. Once the disappointment wore off, and restrictions permitted us, we re-grouped and went back to recording adding more energy and a new ideas into our songs. In what has been a tough time for the arts Chapter 3 are now ready to share some great music with everyone and hope to end 2020 on a high note."
