Kayne’s celebrate milestone 18th birthday
T
There was cause for celebration at Kayne’s Bar & Bistro recently as they reached their milestone 18th birthday. The Randles family were joined by staff and customers for a memorable party at the popular Dromhall Hotel pub, which has been the cornerstone of the Woodlawn area since the year 2000.
Speaking to the Killarney Advertiser, proprietor Bernadette Randles thanked her loyal employees and clientele, whom she described as the “lifeblood of the establishment”.
She also revealed a titbit of information that some locals may not be aware of: the name Kayne’s came from a combination of both her parents’ names, Kay and Neil, who initially opened the doors of the Dromhall Hotel in 1964.
