KERRY'S James O'Donoghue returns on Sunday for his first start since last year's All-Ireland senior football final.

This is one of three changes in personnel from the Kerry side that defeated Tipperary in the Munster final.

As the Kingdom take on Clare in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final in Croke Park on Sunday at 2pm, Peter Crowley comes into the half-back line in place of Aidan O’Mahony, who was a late replacement for the injured Laune Rangers man last day out. David Moran starts in midfield instead of Bryan Sheehan.

Up front, Legion sharpshooter James O’Donoghue returns for his first start since last year’s All-Ireland final in place of the injured Colm Cooper.

The substitutes list is notable for the fact that three of this year’s Under 21 side, Tom O’Sullivan, Barry O’Sullivan and Tony Brosnan, make the championship match day squad for the first time.
Michael Geaney, who replaced Colm Cooper in the course of the Munster Final, misses the game through injury as do Cooper and Johnny Buckley.
