Improved access to Listry Cemetery and new footpath for Farranfore
W
WORK will begin shortly to tarmac the main footpath access within Listry Cemetery. The improvement project is being undertaken by Kerry County Council and will improve accessibility within the cemetery, said chairman of Killarney Municipal District Councillor Brendan Cronin. “This will particularly improve accessibility within the cemetery for the elderly or anyone with a disability,” he said.
“The total cost of this improvement work is €3000 which I allocated in full from my councillor’s allocations.”
Cllr Cronin also welcomed the footpath construction work on the N22 from the industrial park to the railway crossing in Farranfore. “The work will begin on November 10 and will continue for two weeks approximately,” said Cllr Cronin.
