Illegal dumping in Kilcummin to be monitored
Kerry County Council is to monitor illegal dumping at Rahanane, Kilcummin.
At a recent Killarney Municipal District meeting Cllr Donal Grady highlighted illegal dumping issues in the area.
He called for signs to be erected in the locality in an effort to curb the issue.
A council official told the meeting: “The Environment Department has patrolled the area and spoken with local groups about illegal dumping. At present there are illegal dumping signs in the general area, but we will keep the area under review and if the issue persists more signage can be erected in the future.”
