IFTA nomination for Jessie Buckley

Killarney's Jessie Buckley has been nominated for an Irish Film & Television Academy (IFTA) award.
Nominations were announced for 28 categories in Film & Drama on Tuesday with Jessie up for a 'Supporting Actress' award for her role in 'Women Talking'.
Tralee's Ailbhe Keogan has been nominated in the Script-Film category for her film 'Joyride' which was filmed in Tralee and surrounds and starred Oscar nominee Olivia Colman.
The upcoming 20th Anniversary IFTA awards ceremony, hosted by Deirdre O’Kane, will take place on Sunday, May 7 at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre. RTÉ will broadcast the ceremony, and highlights from the IFTA Red Carpet, the awards ceremony and back stage will also be distributed to over 120 news channels worldwide.
Jessie, along with Eve Hewson and Kerry Condon were honoured at the 17th annual Oscar Wilde Awards last night (Thursday) held at J.J. Abrams' production company Bad Robot in Santa Monica, California.
The annual event is always held on the Thursday before the Academy Awards.
