Golf open day returns
By Sean Moriarty
Killarney Golf and Fishing Club is to host its first post-pandemic open day tomorrow (Friday).
The day-long event is open to golfers with registered golf handicaps and members and non-members are welcome to play on the four-time Irish Open Championship golf course.
“We have already had lots of visitors book in to play. Many are probably in Killarney for the Bank Holiday weekend and taking advantage of playing Killeen our Irish Open course,” Killarney Golf and Fishing Club’s Marketing Manager, Meg Dalton, said.
“It is nice to welcome these golfers out to us again, some have most likely played with us before and are coming back for the first time this year and particularly post-COVID. Given many of the COVID restrictions have now been lifted, their experience is likely to be closer to what it was like golfing with us before the pandemic so that’s a big positive for them and for us as a club.”
