Fionn Fitzgerald to captain Kerry

DR CROKES has nominated Fionn Fitzgerald as Kerry Senior Football Captain for 2018. Fionn’s nomination will go before the January County Committee meeting for ratification.
Fionn made his debut with the Kerry Seniors in 2013 in a League game against Kildare. He has since won All-Ireland senior (2014) and Allianz League (2017) medals and five Munster senior medals (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017).
Kerry open this year’s League campaign with a home fixture to Donegal in Killarney on January 28. Rounds 2 and 3 are away trips, to Mayo and Monaghan respectively. Round 4 Kerry are at home to Galway and then in the last three rounds are away to Dublin, home to Kildare on St Patrick’s Day and away to Tyrone.
