Danielle O’Leary named Player of the Month for May
Danielle O’Leary has been named as the May winner of the PwC GPA Women’s Player of the Month awards for football.
PwC are proud sponsors of the Player of the Month awards across camogie, hurling and football, both men’s and women’s. The May awards recognise the country’s top performers throughout some of the Provincial Finals and the early stages of 2024 All-Ireland championships.
O’Leary produced a mesmerising display as she kicked ten points against Cork in the Munster final. O’Leary was Kerry’s sole scorer in the first half and continued her scintillating form with six scores in the second.
As Kerry secured their first Munster title since 2017, O’Leary was undoubtedly the outstanding player on the pitch.
