Conor wins brand new Kerry jersey
S
St Brendan’s College student Conor O’Leary is the owner of a brand new Kerry jersey after being named as the lucky winner of our Killarney Advertiser Sport Twitter competition.
Conor’s name was randomly selected from the list of readers who followed our new @AdvertiserSport account and gave us a retweet over the past two weeks. Conor, Adam Moynihan and Niall ‘Botty’ O’Callaghan of the Kerry GAA Store convened on Wednesday for the prize-giving where the winner decided to go for the classic green and gold home jersey.
Conor is a keen athlete himself. As well as lining out for Kilcummin and Mastergeeha, he was also a member of the Sem team that won consecutive All-Irelands in the last couple of years.
Speaking at the presentation, Adam thanked Botty and the Kerry GAA Store for sponsoring the prize. “Fair play to Botty,” he said. “It was a great prize and the perfect way to launch our new Twitter account.”
