Classic club supports Kerry Mental Health Tie Day

Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club (KVCVC) hosted the first classic car run of the season and raised funds for Kerry Mental Health in the process.
The run started from the their clubhouse on the Lewis Road on Sunday.
KVCVC share space with Kerry Mental Health Association who run a café in the same premises.
“We are very grateful to Kerry Mental Health Association who not only provide us with a clubhouse for our various activities but also made lovely packed lunches for us to enjoy on the run,” club official James Looney said.
Over 30 cars left Killarney and headed for Tralee via the Short Mountain. There they met members of the Tralee-based Kingdom Veteran Vintage and Classic Car Club and the two groups enjoyed a run over scenic roads in West Kerry including Brandon Point and Inch Beach.
Some drivers wore quirky ties in support of Kerry Mental Heath’s annual Tie Day which took place on Friday last.
