Kilcummin GAA Club builds on its strengths
K
KILCUMMIN GAA CLUB reached a historic milestone as it signed the contact for the development of its second senior pitch. The club signed the document with contractor Sean Kelly during the week.
Work will commence within the next fortnight and should be completed within a four-week period (weather permitting). “It has been a long journey in terms of meetings, and administration, since 2004,” said club spokesman Billy Doolan.
“We sincerely appreciate the efforts of all involved to get us to this point. This is great news for the club, and parish, as it will provide much needed additional training facilities for all age groups from 2017.”
