Man’s body recovered from River Flesk
Local Fire and Rescue confirmed that emergency services were called to the River Flesk yesterday after 3pm following reports of a person in the water.
A body of a man, believed to be local and aged in his late 20s, was recovered from the river shortly afterwards.
Killarney Fire and Rescue have confirmed to the Killarney Advertiser that they were alerted to an incident where the man got into difficulty in the water. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
