The Killarney Park Hotel will reveal the first phase of its renovations on April 4.

This includes 69 newly designed guest rooms, suites, grounds, and gardens.
The hotel, a family-owned five-star property, has completed this phase of its refurbishment, incorporating a rebranding with the motto ‘time made richer’.
The renovation, designed by McCauley Daye O'Connell Architects, draws inspiration from Kerry’s landscapes and history.
The rooms feature nature-inspired hues, local materials, and custom joinery.
Scenic wallpaper featuring views of the Killarney Lakes, based on preserved watercolours from the National Gallery of Ireland, has been added to the suites and classic rooms.
The rooms also include modern technology, such as presence-detected lighting, cooling, and electric curtains, as well as smart TVs.
Sustainable practices are a priority, with locally sourced materials and eco-friendly amenities from Wildsmith.
.Marcus Treacy, Managing Director said:
“For the family, scheduling the enhancement programme in two phases is crucial to ensure meticulous execution, grounded in sustainability, while delivering an authentic Irish hotel guest experience. By integrating Killarney’s natural beauty, local craftsmanship, and sustainable practices into the design, the refurbishment and rebranding create a uniquely Irish luxury experience. Stage two, commencing in early 2026, will transform the spa, introduce a sophisticated cocktail bar, and enhance the dining area,” stated Marcus Treacy, Managing Director.
The second phase of renovations, starting in early 2026, will include the spa, a cocktail bar, and enhanced dining areas.
