Blues to face Ringmahon in FAI Junior Cup showdown

Killarney Athletic will make the relatively short journey to Cork on Sunday for a massive tie against Ringmahon Rangers in the last 32 of the FAI Junior Cup. The match takes place at 2pm.
The Blues have done very well to make it to this stage of what is a fiercely competitive national competition but Brendan Moloney’s men will be gunning for a spot in the last 16, where they would undoubtedly be joined by the some of the finest amateur football teams in the country.
Athletic are the only Kerry side still standing in the FAI Junior Cup following victories over Ballingarry (4-0) and Clonmullion (2-0) in Rounds 3 and 4.
Ringmahon defeated New Ross Celtic in the last round on a scoreline of 1-0.
The club is perhaps best known for producing Liverpool and Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher.
