Young entrepreneurs share recipe for success with Michael Flatley

WORLD-FAMOUS dancer Michael Flatley was suitably impressed when he encountered some of Kerry’s brightest and best young entrepreneurs in Killarney this morning.
Michael got to sample some tasty treats prepared by Katie Shields of Blissful Bits from Gneeveguilla National School.
They were among a host of pupils and teachers at the Junior Entrepreneur showcase at The Malton Hotel.
The Junior Entrepreneur Programme is an entrepreneurial education programme for primary school pupils. It was founded in Kerry in 2010 by Jerry Kennelly, the Institute of Technology, Tralee, Mary Immaculate College of Education, Limerick and Shannon Development, with the aim of fostering and nurturing an entrepreneurial culture, at an appropriate level, among primary school children.
