Santa and reindeer ready to leave the North Pole
Santa is almost ready to leave the North Pole and make his epic journey across the globe.
Within hours he will be in your home to deliver presents - so you better get to bed early tonight!
His elves have packed up the sleigh and his reindeer Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder, Blitzen and Rudolph, are waiting for Santa's nod to take to the skies.
And if you want to know where in the world he is before you head to bed then it's worth checking his Santa tracker online.
Families can use NASA’s North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) by searching www.noradsanta.org to watch his sleigh live.
Santa usually starts in the Pacific Ocean at the International Date Line and travels west.
He visits the South Pacific first, then New Zealand and Australia. Then after that it's on to Japan, Asia, across to Africa, then Western Europe, Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Central and South America.
