Ukraine children give the gift of gratitude
More than 40 Ukrainian children are busy crafting some very special Christmas cards which they plan to gift to the people of Killarney.
Weekly master classes are held in various hotels where Ukrainians are currently staying and it's there where little Ukrainians create their masterpieces, and their mothers sign them with their own hands.
KASI helped purchase all the necessary materials for making cards. Each one is unique and more than one hundred cards will soon be sent to many Killarney residents.
“With this gesture, we want to welcome the local community of Killarney, and also express our own gratitude for the warm welcome, good attitude and help we receive," Nataliya Krasnenkova, one of the organisers of the masterclasses, said.
"The children happily joined in making Christmas cards. Children are very creative and put their whole soul into their work. We hope that everyone who receives cards will appreciate our efforts," Nataliya Eismont, co-organiser of the masterclasses, added.
