Life-saving charity to benefit from Mary’s carols

By Michelle Crean
Local soprano Mary Culloty O'Sullivan will hold a fundraising concert on Tuesday evening next (November 29).
Every year Mary chooses a charity to support and this year it's Michael Linehan HeartSave Killarney.
Mary will be joined by special guests at the 'Finding Your Voice' concert at 7.30pm for an evening of Christmas carols and love songs in the Methodist Church near Avenue Hotel.
Entry is free and donations will be gratefully accepted with all proceeds going to the life-saving charity.
"This year I’m delighted to nominate Michael Linehan HeartSave Killarney," Mary said.
"This local charity has installed 13 public access defibrillators on the streets of Killarney accessible 24/7 in case of a sudden cardiac emergency in our community. With basic CPR and defibrillator training you could help save a life."
Their aim is to train as many people as possible so if you're interested in learning please get in touch, she added.
"They raise funds to cover the ongoing costs of keeping these life-saving machines in excellent working condition by supplying fresh pads and batteries year in, year out. Any support is greatly welcomed and appreciated."
