Over €12k in funding for local events

Six major events that run in the Killarney Municipal District are set to receive a total of €12,500 in funding thanks to the Festival and Participative Events Programme For County Kerry 2022.
The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle is the biggest winner, under the scheme organisers can put €2,750 towards the running costs of this year’s event.
Both the 4th of July Festival and Christmas in Killarney will get €2,250 under the same programme.
The same figure has been allocated to Kerry International Film Festival which is based between Tralee and Killarney.
Car events, Cannonball Ireland and the International Rally of the Lakes will get €1,000 and
€2,000 respectively.
