Kennelly’s Pharmacy up for two major awards
By Michelle Crean
They're there for some sound advice when needed so it's no surprise that one local pharmacy is up for not one - but two - national awards.
Kennelly’s Pharmacy have made it to the final three of the National Independent Pharmacy of the Year Awards and staff member Luke O'Shea is also a finalist in the Community Pharmacist of the Year Award category.
The awards night will take place on Saturday May 21 in the Burlington Hotel Dublin during a black tie event. This year, the awards will serve as a salute to all the community pharmacy staff and teams, working at the frontline, who have gone above and beyond during unprecedented challenges and under immense pressure.
"The Irish Pharmacy Awards recognise excellence and innovation," Emma O'Connor from Kennelly's Pharmacy said.
"That recognition is now especially more meaningful in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Never has there been a better opportunity for the industry to get behind the frontline and show their appreciation. These awards are not just a celebration of success, but a platform of gratitude."
