Hotel staff raise €5k for sick kids

By Michelle Crean
A combined fundraising effort saw a massive €5,000 raised for a children's cancer charity, thanks to the good work of a local hotel.
Staff, management, the owners and even guests got in on the kind-hearted gesture all in aid of the Irish Childhood Cancer Foundation.
"We at Hotel Killarney are very proud and happy to announce that we were able to raise much needed funds for the Irish Childhood Cancer Foundation throughout the month of September," Louise Daly from Hotel Killarney, said.
"We hosted a series of events throughout the month in all areas of our hotel, and our staff and management, as well as our guests all got involved. Combined with a donation from the Crimmins family of Hotel Killarney we have raised €5,000 for this amazing charity. We are absolutely thrilled with the amount raised."
She added that they are delighted to know that the funds will now go to vital services that the childhood cancer foundation provides.
"We would like to thank all the Crimmins family, management, staff, and guests who have donated throughout September."
