Local business rewards Firies ladies football team
Firies Football, Hurling and Ladies Football Club have welcomed a fresh new business to their club sponsorship group.
The Noble Grill, located in the heart of Firies, presented Firies’ aspiring senior ladies football team such opportunity. Ailish Burke, proprietor of The Nobile Grill, opened her doors when the country was under pandemic restrictions just over 12 months ago and despite the limitations, managed to evolve this new enterprise into a staple establishment within the locality. Ailish rewarded such loyal customer dependability by offering essential support to the local senior ladies football team.
Fiona Walshe, Firies Ladies Chairperson, along with the senior ladies football team, have offered their gratitude to The Noble Grill for their support.
“Our particular code continues to grow and all financial support is crucial and particularly appreciated by such a young, emerging business, Fiona said.
"Despite the senior ladies taking a sabbatical for a few years, they have returned resilient and were recently crowned Division 4 league victors this year, demonstrating the importance of local support.”
