A local favourite has once again reopened its doors for business after undergoing a new look and adding a new flavour to its evening menu.

It reopened on October 20 last year but again closed to make some internal changes to help give customers a bigger variety.

Customers were delighted once again on Wednesday to walk back inside and sample the new menu.

"Jam opened exactly as it was before but we always had planned to modernise the business in keeping with the heart and soul of what it was to the locals of Killarney," Darragh Walshe from Jam told the Killarney Advertiser.

"We went ahead with our renovations in May of this year. We experienced some delays here and there along the way but we were delighted to reopen on Wednesday and with how our finished product looks. We are everything we used to be with freshly baked scones and pastries, sandwiches, delicious soups and some lovely new cooked to order breakfast and lunch offers. We will introduce a new evening offer in the coming weeks once the cafe day trade finishes."

Ciao Bella will be an Italian offering with loads of fantastic pizzas and pastas which will be available from 4pm daily in the coming weeks.

"We have brought back lots of our old team and we have made some great additions recently. Shirley Mulvany our Head Chef/Manager has lots of lovely treats in store as well as Edel Short our new pastry chef. We pride ourselves on making and baking everything fresh in house everyday. We are really looking forward to this new chapter and to seeing you all again very soon."
