Kerry footballing sharp-shooter Sean O’Shea has been named a Peugeot brand ambassador by Reen’s Cars Sales in Rathmore.
O’Shea was given the keys of a new Peugeot 3008 Allure by the Reen Family.
The family owned firm, the current Peugeot ‘Dealer of the Year’ and their third time winning the coveted award, is run by diehard Kerry GAA fans, John and Tim Reen.
The father and son team are a formidable outfit when it comes to customer services but the addition of the Kenmare Shamrock’s star half-forward will help the squad as they strive for four-in-a-row at the annual Peugeot Ireland awards later in the year.
“A huge sales success in Europe already and with 17 international awards under its belt, demand for the new Peugeot 3008 is outstripping supply in every country where it has already been launched,” said Des Cannon, Managing Director at Gowan Distributors Limited, Peugeot Importers in Ireland.
Allure versions, include standard safety items like Active Blind Spot Detection (ABSD), Active Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA), and Advanced Driver Attention Alert (DAA3).
Of course, these are all attributes that come naturally to O’Brien. During last year’s All-Ireland football final he had 11 shots at goal and 10 of them went over the bar…there is no doubt his blind spot awareness is as good as it needs to be. His ability to keep within the while lines of the playing pitch shows he does not need lane keeping assistance.
But being a Kerry footballer is a rare honour and these safety features on the Peugeot 3008 Allure will make Kerry roads safer.
