Met Éireann issues Code Level Orange wind warning for Kerry

MET ÉIREANN has issued a Code Level Orange wind warning for counties including Kerry for tonight, March 1 and March 2.
The warning is in place from 10pm tonight to 8am tomorrow, Wednesday.
Northwest winds veering northwest will increased to mean speeds of 65 to 75 km/h with gusts of 110 to 130km/h in exposed areas and near coasts.
Kerry County Council is advising home and property owners to take the necessary precautions especially in relation to loose or unsecured property and is advising motorists to watch out for fallen branches and debris on the roads.
