TV sisters host wellness event

Popular sisters Aoibhín and Doireann Garrihy, hosted a wellness event in Killarney on Sunday which attracted over 300 people from all over the county and beyond.
The Great Southern Killarney was the place to be for the Kerry BEO Health & Wellness Event and guests enjoyed a day filled with informative talks and events focusing on health and wellness, with advice for inspiring, motivating and encouraging self-care for the mind, body and soul.
The day, which encourages self-care for the mind, body and soul was presented by actress Aoibhín and TV presenter Doireann Garrihy, and ran from 12pm-5pm.
The brainchild of founders Aoibhín Garrihy and Sharon Connellan, both ladies are highly motivated and resourceful marketers with diverse experience ranging from media, public relations, education and event management. Combining their expertise, they focused their consultancy on the wellness arena, and so, BEO, the Irish translation for life, was born.
Speakers at the event included Irish radio and television personality Síle Seoige, fitness expert Leanne Moore, and Pat Divilly, nutrition and mindset trainer.
“Guests were welcomed with an array of healthy brunch options including protein bars, granola and yogurt pots with blueberry, mango and almond flakes and sipped on Virgin Bloody Marys,” Emma Tangney, Sales & Marketing Coordinator with the GSH, said.
“Guests enjoyed a day filled with informative talks and events focusing on health and wellness with advice for inspiring, motivating and encouraging self-care for the mind, body and soul.”
