Gardaí appeal for information after taxi hit-and-run

Gardaí in Killarney are appealing for information from the public following a hit-and-run incident involving a taxi. A man was struck by a taxi as he was using the pedestrian crossing near the Plaza Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning. The victim suffered minor injuries but it is believed that the car failed to stop and instead fled the scene.
The incident occurred at approximately 2am and gardaí are eager to speak to anyone who may have been in the vicinity at the time. As it was around closing time, it is believed that a number of revellers were in the area and may have seen what happened.
