Mayor Welcomes Another Announcement For Social Housing
After last week's announcement of the approval to build 61 social houses in the Ballydribbeen area Mayor of Killarney Niall Kelleher has welcomed todays announcement by Martin O'Donoghue Director of Housing Kerry County Council that the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government has approved a proposal for a project under CALF for the provision of 59 Units for Social Housing at Oakwood, Rock Rd, Killarney by Cluid Housing Association. This project consists of 44 1 Bed Units and 15 2 Bed Units.
These units will be provided for Cluid Housing Association in partnership with and supported by Kerry County Council, subject to completion of legal and other requirements.
The tenancies of all of these 59 units will be allocated to persons on Kerry County Council’s Housing List. These applicants will be nominated to Cluid Housing Association by Kerry County Council on delivery of the units.
