Killarney is the Emerald City for St Patrick’s celebrations

EXPECT to paint the town green as details of the second annual St Patrick’s Festival Cill Áirne were unveiled in Killarney this week.
The annual festival is being held in association with media partner Killarney Advertiser and its theme is "Ireland – Past, Present and Future".
It was launched at Killarney House on Monday where festival chairperson Anne Marie Kennelly said: "2016 is a very special year celebrating our centenary. It is a time to reflect on the past, to celebrate the present and to imagine the future. We decided to launch this year’s festival at Killarney House as it encompasses the theme perfectly. It is a time to reflect on the past, to celebrate the present and to imagine the future.”
Plans are well underway to make this year's festival a memorable one.
