Poor driving conditions around Rathmore, Gneeveguilla, Anablaha and Scartaglin
K
KERRY may look like something of a winter wonderland this morning, but bear in mind you need to take extreme care whether on foot or on wheels.
Poor driving conditions were reported on Bealach Óisín, on the N69 Tralee-Listowel road, and in parts of east Kerry around Rathmore, Gneeveguilla, Anablaha and Scartaglin.
Kerry County Council salted major routes from 4am this morning but warned that you must assume the need to drive with caution on all roads.
"The Conor Pass is best avoided - please use alternative routes," stated Kerry County Council. "There is snow and ice in many sheltered areas and on higher ground so please proceed with caution."
The yellow weather warning for cold conditions remains in place until 6pm Friday.
